Terms of Service
The rules for SROFort's independent software and hosted filter services. Mandatory legal and consumer rights remain available.
Who operates this service
SROFort is the trade name of this independent online software service. We do not claim that SROFort is an incorporated company or an authorized publisher of Silkroad Online. Contact the service operator at [email protected]. These terms apply to SROFort's own software and hosted filter services, not to a license to any third-party game.
Independent product and third-party rights
SROFort is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Joymax, WEMADE MAX, or the owners of Silkroad Online. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used to describe compatibility. Buying SROFort does not grant rights to game server binaries, game clients, artwork, trademarks, databases or other third-party content. You must obtain and maintain every permission required for your use. A compatibility claim or this disclaimer does not authorize infringement.
Your authority and account
You must be at least 18, or otherwise legally able to enter this agreement, and authorized to administer the server and data you connect. Provide accurate billing information, protect your credentials and enable account security. You remain responsible for the actions of staff you authorize. Tell us promptly about unauthorized access. We may verify an order or the payer before activation.
What your subscription includes
The selected invoice and plan describe the player limit, paid period, included features and separately priced add-ons. A license permits use for its approved server assignment; it does not transfer ownership of our software or permit resale, credential sharing or redistribution. Regional filter hosting is distinct from game-server/SQL hosting. Compatibility, migration timing and capacity depend on the documented supported versions and available resources; there is no promise of unlimited capacity or immunity from every attack.
Payment, activation and renewals
An invoice is unpaid until its payment has been verified or approved. A screenshot alone is not confirmation. Use the exact payment instructions, currency and network shown on that invoice. Review the destination before a bank or cryptocurrency transfer. We do not claim that a cryptocurrency transfer can be reversed. Unless a clearly disclosed recurring-payment agreement says otherwise, you renew manually; an unpaid invoice is not a completed purchase. Prices and entitlement shown on an issued invoice are not changed retroactively by a catalog edit.
Expiry and the 24-hour service grace
The paid expiry remains the date on your license. Existing filter service receives a separate 24-hour renewal grace, ending at the service deadline shown in the panel; restarting does not extend it. After that deadline the affected filter services stop. Renewal restores eligibility, and an owner's manual stop is respected. Security suspensions, revoked licenses and disabled accounts do not receive this grace. New provisioning and device enrollment require an active paid period. A separately expired or revoked add-on is not renewed by the base grace.
Fair use, security and abuse
Do not use our services for infringement, malware, stolen accounts, forged receipts, payment fraud, unauthorized access, credential theft or attacks on others. Do not sell or disclose private linking files or internal credentials, bypass payment/license controls, or redistribute SROFort code or binaries beyond the license. Restrictions apply only to the extent allowed by applicable law; mandatory interoperability and security-research rights are not waived. Authorized security reports are welcome at [email protected]. Load tests against shared or public infrastructure require our prior agreement.
Customer data, uploads and backups
You retain your rights in your lawful data and grant us only the access needed to provide and secure the service. Do not upload content you are not entitled to use. Keep independent backups of your game and SQL data and check changes in a suitable test environment. Our backup features do not replace your own recovery plan or guarantee that every customer-side database is backed up. The Privacy Notice describes account, payment, device and operational records; we do not sell your SQL credentials.
Service changes and suspension
We may perform maintenance, deploy security fixes and restrict abusive or compromised access. Where reasonable we provide notice and an explanation, preserve available records and offer a review through support. A payment dispute is reviewed on its facts; a good-faith refund request does not by itself establish fraud. A substantiated reversal, unauthorized payment or material breach may affect the related service. We do not delete game data as a penalty for a dispute.
Refunds and payment disputes
The Refund Policy forms part of these terms. Mandatory consumer rights and payment-provider dispute rights remain available. We do not guarantee that a chargeback can be prevented or that a no-refund clause overrides law. We retain proportionate order, acceptance, payment, activation and support evidence and may provide relevant records to a payment provider or competent authority when lawfully required.
Availability and responsibility
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Third-party outages, customer-side configurations, unsupported files, internet routing and attacks can affect operation. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud or applicable mandatory consumer remedies. For other losses, any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by the law governing the transaction; this page does not promise a universal exclusion of liability or an enforceable limit in every country.
Complaints, IP reports and updates
Send a complaint, rights-holder notice or dispute to [email protected] with the affected URL/order, your authority and enough detail to investigate. We may restrict reported material while reviewing a credible report and provide a contact route to the affected customer where appropriate. These terms do not create a game IP license or guarantee immunity from a rights-holder claim. We publish the version and date of material changes and request renewed acceptance where required. No fictitious registered entity, court or exclusive jurisdiction is designated; mandatory applicable law and forum rights prevail.
